Some time in mid to late March, motorists on Zion Road in the City of Northfield must come to a FULL STOP at the intersection of Zion Road and Oak Avenue. What does this mean? The traffic signal facing those traveling on Zion Road (at Oak Avenue) will soon flash RED, which has the same meaning as a stop sign. The current traffic signal flashes yellow - advising motorists to slow down, proceed with caution and be prepared to stop. When the change is implemented, roadway signs will also be in place to advise motorists of the change, and the need to come to a FULL STOP at this intersection.
